Ultra-short pulse laser radiation opens up new perspectives in industrial manufacturing. LightPulse LASER PRECISION is your ideal partner for the production of individual items, small and large series. We optimally adjust the process on our processing machines, design and build the fixtures necessary for a stable process, and ensure quality with calibrated measurement technology. This enables us to successfully implement your application in series production.

Microdrilling
The ultra-short pulse laser is a highly precise and flexible tool that allows the drilling of tiny holes in any material with great freedom in terms of hole geometry. Thanks to the ultra-short pulse laser, there are virtually no limits to creativity in the design of hole shapes. This opens up completely new applications.

Fine cutting
When fine cutting with ultra-short pulse lasers, the material in the cutting gap is vaporised with minimal heat input into the surrounding material. This prevents the formation of molten material and results in high-quality cuts. By adjusting the laser beam during the machining process, right-angled cutting edges can be achieved.

Laser turning
The ultra-short pulse laser can also be used to precisely machine rotationally symmetrical components. At the heart of the system is a turning axis with high-precision concentricity. Laser turning can achieve diameters as small as 50 µm. When machining cylinders, a structuring process is used to apply specified structures to the rotating component with an accuracy of a few µm.

Surface structuring
Due to the low heat input into the workpiece and the achievable accuracies, ultrashort pulse lasers are used to create high-precision and functional surface structures through laser ablation. Various processes can be implemented, such as structuring/texturing, microengraving or selective thin-film ablation.
